Having a break from working in the library...the beautiful library of birmingham uni complete with books, computers, tables (good for sleeping on) and other such library things. Unfortunatly we have no showers, but then i guess thats a small price to pay for not going to a crazy university.
We have to learn the definitions, general background and 2 studies for 16 different words...and ive done about 5. Well...thats not really including the studies.
All for a test in 2 weeks. JOY!
Oh, and have to look at all the other stuff for the other tests during that week too.
arghypants.
Saying that though, thats only 4 tests, each one hour long.
And, im not sure whether we actually have a test in one of them, im just guessing we do.
But, it seems like such a big task! Well, i guess compared to what ive done recently it is.
Its nice to have someone to revise with (Catamat), someone whos in the same boat workwise and can motivate me to workworkwork! :) Mondays are fun, (as fun as they can be), librarying with cat. Yay for cat! :D So, so glad you're here.

Went away this weekend with the navigators, to the lake district...first trip away with uni mates! It was awesome, gettin to know the randomers was probably the best part, but there were lots of highlights along the way :)
Took us 4 hours to get there!! FOUR HOURS! So...the time was filled with random bus journey games (Which i never knew existed), lots of singing of bus journey songs, and much talking with annabelle (bell). Oh...and we played deal or no deal (some computerised one...) which i failed at miserably... :P
Got there...settled down with hot chocolate n biscuits next to the open fire in the sitting room...lots of chairs and a biiiiiiig tv. Chatted some, found out names of people...played table tennis...talked lots to these guys from austria. Things are so different over there! They had funny accents.
Next day...woke up...(7am...too early...), went canoeing on lake...(pictures will be up on photobucket sometime in the next few days)...found a secret island...stopped for cakes and mince pies...canoed back, singing lots of songs in ahigh pitched manner...like bohemian rhapsody (somehow we managed to get all the way through), S club 7, sound of music songs, disney songs, uh...n disco/80's music.
Good times.
:)
Then had lunch...chatted more...washed up...water flicking fight...
Then a group of us decided we wanted to go on a 'mystery drop-off'.
What is that? i hear you say...
Well. We got into a minibus, got blindfolded, and driven somewhere (had possibly the best conversation whilst blindfolded), got led out of the bus (Still blindfolded), holding hands...up a hill...and then left there.
And we had to find our way back to the centre.
ARGH!
Was fun though, they had an american football which they lobbed around the whole time (ended up in trees a lot...), we found a slate hill which the guys raced up...funny funny...much laughter, much chatting. Got lost, decided to walk accross bogs, streams and other such things. Found the lake eventually (cabin was next to the lake), got picked up by a boat...had to wade out into the water to climb a ladder onto said boat...
The boots ripped up my feet though...and i got trodden on :P
But...it was worth it...i think.
Got back...helped make dinner...lasagne...cut up aubergines...mwahahaha...sharp knives...made salad...more chatting...
washed up bowl with cake mixture in it, after eating some...more water flicking fights...
'Watched' strictly come dancing whilst chatting to austrians, then ate dinner.
YUM.
:D
Urrr...then hung out...n ended up in pub down the road, where i got called an alcoholic...we took over the pub (all 35 of us)...chatted lots, much laughing and spitting of drinks due to laughing (haha). Happy days.
Went back, star gazed...so pretty...took me back to camping in summer...had hot chocolate...'watched' groundhog day whilst chattin with bell and laughing at johndude. Got given a duvet (score! didn't even have to move...).
Stayed up chatting somemore...rolled into bed.
Morning of next day - stayed in cos i couldn't wear boots without being in lots of pain...read some book (kinda), chatted to austrian girl...shes so funny...random person. Microwaved tea (never occured to me that you could do this...).
Had lunch...tidyed...came home...again chattin muchly with bell (so glad i met her, someone to chat about stuffs n God) and throwing things at the driver/drivers sidekick.
Many funny memories, new friends made, good times.

Still feel slightly lost, a little confused. Uni is becoming more interesting, with things to do and i guess settling in a lot better now than before...
But, still this sense of distance and un-Godliness. But, its getting better, mum n sister sharing after encounter encouraged me a lot.
Its all gravy baby...eternal perspective! :)
