Hope.

I was really encouraged by Tuuli's most recent post titled Love, which you can find here -

This is a girl - fast becoming a lady - who i truly care for, she is someone who encourages me, shows me love, sharpens me and makes me laugh...hysterically.
God made her. He sees her and, and He sees goodness. That in itself makes me beyond happy, im so glad, that someone who i love is that cared for. God loves her so. :)
Tuuli, God blesses you, i happy. :P

Went to a place in sussex these past few days...tuesday to thursday...
nice place. big house. creaky floorboards. amazing homecooked food (chrissy...they had homemade bread...it was...soooooo good...and they had homemade parsnip and coconut soup...with homemade bread...seriously...i didn't take one bite without thinking of you :P). peacefulness.
Above all, God created this insane family the time we were there. I was the youngest by about 25 years... :P There were 2 Jamaican ladies, an english lady, an elderly english lady (who, was about 85 i think..she was about 20 when the war finished?) and my mum and i. It was seriously cool...
hearing their stories, some sad, some strange, lots hilarious, but all encouraging. Mealtimes were just us all sitting, sharing and chatting about everything..ranging from racism to stockings, from history to future glory, from food to farting (i kid you not). Peppermint tea is good apparently...
But yeah, the two afro-carribean ladies were awesome...was so encouraged by them. They both had a mixture between a jamaican and a posh london accent :P was...so such a bizzare accent...but cool nonetheless.
One of them would always bring God into every conversation, (thank the Lord...thank You Jesus...God help us!), which was kinda strange, not used to it i don't think, but it was awesome because it helped remind and refocus me in God's direction.
Personally, was a nice time to reflect, read some, nearly finished 'Whats so amazing about grace' by Phillip Yancey now...man...that book has made me CRY, God is so good.

In other news...revision is plodding along...exams 17th, 21st, 22nd, 29th, 31st, 5th...aside from revision, theres a 3-day trip to london in amongst all those exams, a weekend at alton towers, family coming over from malaysia, fundraising, leaving do with the millies crew + a few extras, the fundraising lunch...and gotta sort out everything for Israel.
Ho-hum. well...Ho-hums. That would be me. humming.
